Questions people ask
How does the score work?
You get up to 5,000 points: the closer your pin to the real place, the more you score. Within a few kilometres is a perfect score; the score falls away smoothly with distance.
When is there a new photo?
Every day at midnight UTC (8 pm in New York during daylight saving time, 7 pm in winter). Everyone gets the same place, so you can compare scores.
