What is missing, and where it actually stands
The features that are not in Sureno yet, kept on their own page rather than quietly implied on the others.
Apple signing and notarisation
So the first launch stops warning you, and so the checksum on the security page means something. This is the next thing that ships.
Published installer and checksums
A permanent download URL on sureno.ai with a SHA-256 beside it.
Chrome Web Store extensions
The most-asked-for missing feature by a wide margin. Chromium supports it; wiring it through Sureno's tab model is the work. No date yet, and we would rather say that than invent one.
Sync between machines
Bookmarks, projects and settings across your own Macs, end-to-end encrypted, still without an advertising account. Designing this badly is worse than not shipping it.
Windows and Intel Mac builds
Electron builds for both already; the packaging, signing and testing do not exist yet.
A real VPN, or the screen comes out
Today's VPN screen is a labelled simulation. Either it becomes a genuine tunnel through a provider we can name, or it is removed. It will not stay as a decorative shield.
Real tracker blocking to replace the simulated counters
Same rule: a shield counter that counts nothing is coming out unless it starts blocking something.
Try it for a week alongside Chrome
The import copies your bookmarks and passwords rather than moving them, so Chrome stays exactly as you left it. If Sureno is not for you, uninstalling takes under a minute.
