Set sensibly before you arrive
The defaults are the settings we would pick for ourselves. You should still read them once, which is why they are on one screen in sentences rather than spread across six menus in jargon.

About privacy in Sureno
Do you have an account system?
No. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no profile to attach a browsing history to.
Is there telemetry?
The browser does not phone home with your browsing. It checks a URL for updates, which by its nature tells that server a version and an IP address, and that is the whole of it.
What about the simulated features?
Some things in the app are demonstrations, and they say so in the app itself: the shield counters and the VPN screen are simulated and do not protect your network. They are labelled inside Sureno and left off the features page for the same reason. For a real VPN in the browser, Browsec is a separate extension. Sureno does not send your traffic through it.
Can I export or delete everything?
Yes. It is your machine and your files. Settings has an export, and uninstalling removes the app and its storage.
Try a calmer browser for a week
Sureno copies your bookmarks and passwords rather than moving them, so your old browser stays exactly as you left it. If Sureno is not for you, uninstalling takes under a minute.
