Why three places, not the whole world?
Those three publish an open feed Sureno can show. The US figure is hourly for the lower 48 states. Texas and New York update through the day, every few minutes.
What is a megawatt?
A megawatt is a million watts, about enough for several hundred homes at once. The US chart is megawatthours in that hour, which for one hour is the same as the average megawatts.
