How much water should I drink?

Does coffee count?

Drinks and water-rich food all contribute. This number is a daily target for fluids, not a rule to drink only plain water.

How much water should I drink a day?

Needs vary with size, activity and weather. Many adults need around 1.5 to 2.5 litres from drinks, plus water in food.

Is this medical advice?

No. Some health conditions need less or more water, so follow your doctor's advice.
