How to use it

  1. Press "Use the camera" and allow the camera when your browser asks. Or press "Open a photo".
  2. Point the camera at the small print, about a hand's width away.
  3. Slide "Zoom" to make it bigger, and drag the picture to move around.
  4. Try "Sharper" or "Yellow on black" if the words are faint.
  5. Press "Freeze picture" to hold the view still while you read.

Questions and answers

Is the camera picture recorded or sent anywhere?

No. The picture goes straight from the camera to this page on your screen. Nothing is saved or uploaded, and the camera stops when you leave.

Why does my browser ask about the camera?

Browsers always ask before a page may use the camera. Choose "Allow". You can change it later in the browser's site settings.

The words are blurry. What helps?

Move the phone a little further away so the camera can focus, add light, then zoom in. "Freeze picture" also stops the shake.

Does it work without a camera?

Yes. Press "Open a photo" and choose a picture or screenshot; you can zoom and change the colours the same way.
