Is my text sent anywhere?

Most browsers read it with voices on your own device. Some online voices (marked "Online" or "Google") are provided by your browser's maker.

How do I get a nicer voice?

Try the voices in the list; those marked "Natural", "Enhanced" or "Premium" usually sound best. Your device may let you download more voices in its settings.

Can it read a PDF or a photo?

Copy the words out first with PDF to text or Picture to text, then paste them here.
