Update a Windows 11 computer

The pictures are drawings of the screens, not screenshots. Your screen may look a little different.

   Step 1: Open Start, then Settings

   Click the Start button, then Settings.

   Step 2: Windows Update, Check for updates

   Click Windows Update in the list, then Check for updates.

   Step 3: Download & install, then restart

   If updates are found, click Download & install. Restart when asked.

Good to know: Leave the computer plugged in while it updates.
