    Can I unlock it later?

    Anyone with the password can open it. This page cannot recover a password you forget.

    Is the file uploaded?

    No. The password and the PDF stay in your browser.

    How strong should the password be?

    Use at least 12 characters, or four random words. The Password generator can make one for you.
