Back up your photos (iPhone and iCloud)

iCloud Photos keeps a copy of every photo and video, so they are safe if the phone is lost.

    Step 1: Settings, your name, iCloud

    Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap iCloud.

    Step 2: Photos, then Sync this iPhone

    Tap Photos, then turn on Sync this iPhone. New photos now upload by themselves.

    Step 3: Check that it is working

    Open Photos, tap Collections, and look at your account icon at the top right. A partly filled blue circle means photos are still uploading.

Good to know: If iCloud says your storage is full, you can buy more storage (iCloud+) or delete what you do not need.
