Will my bank give me this rate?

Usually not quite. Banks and card companies add a margin or fee. These are the official mid-market reference rates.

How often are rates updated?

Once every working day, around 4pm Central European Time.

Where do the rates come from?

The European Central Bank publishes them each working day. They are shown here with the date.
