    Which format should I use?

    JPG for photos, PNG for screenshots and images with text or transparency, WebP for the smallest files on the web.

    Can it convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?

    If your browser can open HEIC (Safari can), yes. Otherwise set the iPhone camera to "Most Compatible" to save JPG.

    Are my pictures uploaded?

    No. They are converted in your browser.
