26 Looks of 2026, According to 50 of Hollywood’s Biggest Stylists

Stylists Shape Red-Carpet Taste
Celebrity stylists have become influential figures in Hollywood fashion, with large audiences and a role in shaping the looks seen by millions. The survey gathered professionals’ votes for their peers’ most impressive outfits of the year.
Among the designers drawing praise were Matières Fécales, the Paris-based duo of Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran, as well as Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel, Jonathan Anderson’s Dior and Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent. The article also describes feathers, sheer fabrics, cutouts, lace, lingerie, leather and close-fitting or tailored silhouettes as prominent red-carpet choices.
Zendaya Leads the Selection
Zendaya wore a Matières Fécales “Ange” gown to the July 14 premiere of The Odyssey in New York City. Law Roach styled the chiffon dress, which featured white rooster-feather wings inspired by her character, the Greek goddess Athena.
Stylist Ilaria Urbinati said the look felt ethereal without seeming like a costume, while Tara Swennen said it took her breath away. The gown placed Zendaya at the top of the survey’s selections.
Artistic Gowns at the Met Gala
Chase Infiniti also wore a custom design to the gala, this one by Thom Browne and styled by Wayman + Micah. Its 1.5 million hand-embroidered sequins and more than 600 shades of silk fringe drew inspiration from the Greek sculpture Venus de Milo, with stylist Avigail Collins describing it as wearable art.
Taylor’s Sculptural Thom Browne
Teyana Taylor wore a custom Thom Browne gown to the Actor Awards on March 1, with Wayman + Micah styling her look. The gray-and-off-white design evoked an abstract painting of a woman’s body, with ribbons trailing down its back.
The bodice used more than 160 pattern pieces and tonal shading to suggest musculature. Its gray tulle mermaid skirt carried over 400,000 gold and white-gold sequins.
