Out for the season: Oregon QB Dante Moore expected to miss rest of 2026
Reported by FOX Sports ·
Lanning announces Moore’s absence
The report does not provide further details about Moore’s injury or a timetable for recovery. It identifies him as Oregon’s quarterback and says he was injured before the announcement.
A senior season at Oregon
His decision to stay meant another season at Oregon. The expected absence now comes after he played in the team’s first four games.
Production before the injury
In those four games, Moore passed for 926 yards and nine touchdowns. He did not throw an interception during that stretch. Oregon also fired offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer on Sunday, a day after the team lost to Illinois. The report gives no further explanation linking the coaching move to Moore’s status.
