WWE 10/26/26 Results, Booking Grades: Morgan to Defend Title; John Cena Return Set

Vaquer’s status changes the card

Adam Pearce opened Raw by saying Stephanie Vaquer had not been medically cleared. Becky Lynch had been scheduled to face Vaquer in a number one contender match, but Pearce instead announced Lynch would challenge Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship.

Morgan later complained to her Judgment Day stablemates about having to defend her title on short notice. The episode’s report did not give the outcome of the planned title match. WWE announced that John Cena would appear on Raw the following week in Brooklyn.

Zayn retains amid disruption

Sami Zayn objected to being left off the show and claimed others did not merit title opportunities. After Je’Von Evans confronted him, Pearce made a championship match between them.

Zayn retained the WWE Championship after Penta appeared to threaten a Money in the Bank cash-in. Bron Breakker stopped Penta, and Evans was distracted while trying to help him; Zayn then landed a Helluva Kick. Breakker and The Vision attacked Evans and Penta after the match.

Women’s matches deliver drama

Bayley defeated Lyra Valkyria in a no-disqualification match featuring tables, chairs, kendo sticks and trash cans. Bayley put Valkyria through a table with an elbow drop, then used a kendo stick for leverage while applying a crossface. Valkyria tapped out.

Iyo Sky beat Raquel Rodriguez in a non-title match with a roll-up, then was immediately attacked by Judgment Day. The recap suggested the win could move Sky toward a title opportunity, but no such match was announced.

Tag bouts set up future stakes

Penta and Evans said they wanted a tag-team title match against The Vision. Pearce made the match official for Crown Jewel.
