Where to find the model number on a washer
The model and serial number are on a small label or metal plate. You need them to order parts, book a repair or check for a recall.
Where to look
Front-loaders: inside the door rim, on the face of the washer, or on the lower right side outside.
Top-loaders: under the lid near the hinge, on the back of the control panel, or on the back near the water hoses.
