MobLand Star Confirms Eddie Could Become a Monster in Season 2’s Final Episodes

Eddie learns the family’s past

In Episode 8, Conrad tells Eddie about the Harrigan family’s origins. Boon says the story helps explain the family’s damaged and dark behavior, and gives Eddie an education in where they came from.

Boon also says Eddie shows courage by allowing himself to be vulnerable. In a family where respect and displays of strength shape power, letting down his guard is difficult.

A painful low point

Eddie feels alone after Gina rejects him and Maeve turns against him. Boon describes Maeve as someone who had supported and guided Eddie, making her betrayal especially difficult.

Eddie also realizes Maeve sent him to Ireland to face a formidable opponent, and he knows she set him up to fail. After she has already cut his face, he enters Episode 8 believing he has little left to lose.

Conrad’s words shift Eddie

Conrad speaks to Eddie like a father, Boon says, and tells him that what matters is what he does next. The words affect Eddie and leave him feeling somewhat strengthened.

Eddie then tries to regain his confidence and confront problems directly. Boon says Eddie stands up to Maeve for the first time, despite describing her as dangerous and frightening.

The family faces more threats

The Harrigans are divided, while Conrad’s mental condition is deteriorating and Harry struggles to keep things together. Maeve continues to maneuver around Eddie and Gina. Tattersall suggests someone in the Harrigan circle may betray the family, and Archie’s body is found at the bottom of the lake. Mad Dog is also seeking revenge, leaving the family’s future uncertain.
