Pretty Little Liars Stars Lucy Hale and Ian Harding Reunite for Christmas Movie on Hulu; Premiere Photos

A holiday reunion in Hollywood

Hale and Harding, who played love interests on Pretty Little Liars, attended the film’s premiere on Wednesday, November 4. The event took place at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood. The longtime friends and co-workers reunite in The 12 Dates of Christmas, a holiday romantic comedy available on Hulu.

Familiar chemistry on set

Hale told ABC 7 that she and Harding quickly fell back into an easy working rhythm. She called him a true friend and said he remained kind and sang in the hair and makeup trailer.

Harding said he sometimes had trouble telling whether he and Hale were speaking as themselves or delivering lines. He described the film as natural because much of their work was off the cuff.

Their earlier television roles

Hale played Aria Montgomery throughout all seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars. Harding portrayed Ezra Fitz, Aria’s English teacher, and the characters became involved in a relationship. That relationship has drawn controversy because of the age gap and power imbalance between the characters.
