The fifth episode of Boston Blue’s first season brings Will Estes back as Jamie Reagan, Danny Reagan’s brother. Jamie travels to Boston, where Danny, played by Donnie Wahlberg, has started a new chapter with the Boston Police Department.
The episode, titled “Blood Diamonds,” draws the brothers into a diamond heist connected to a violent family feud. The case also brings their own unresolved tensions to the surface.

A new chapter for the Reagans
Blue Bloods followed several generations of the Reagan family working in law enforcement in New York City. It ended after 293 episodes, following a 14-season run that concluded in December 2024.
Boston Blue continues the franchise with Danny in a new city and alongside new colleagues. The fifth episode airs Friday, November 6, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS; it will also stream live on Paramount+ Premium and be available on demand the next day.
