Son remains central
Their son, Kiyan Carmelo Anthony, was 19 when the divorce was finalized. Because he had turned 18, child support was no longer an issue in the settlement. A qualified medical child support order is still listed as pending in the documents. Such an order typically requires a child to be covered by a parent’s health care plan.
Co-parenting after separation
La La told E! News in 2023 that Kiyan was at the center of their family and said they wanted him to see that his parents love one another and remain a family.
