Fans Get Another Chance as Dungeon Crawler Carl Officially Returns November 23, 2026
A November release wave
Renegade Game Studios is preparing a large group of Dungeon Crawler Carl products for November 23, 2026. The retail launch includes the upcoming roleplaying game, Loot Packs and Unstoppable.
What comes in Loot Packs
Each official Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG Loot Pack contains a seven-piece polyhedral dice set and a collectible temporary tattoo. There are 20 themed dice sets and 20 possible tattoos, with dice designs split into 12 common, five rare and three legendary types.
Rare dice sets have advertised odds of one in six packs; legendary sets have odds of one in 100. The legendary designs reference Samantha’s “I Will Kill Your Mother,” Princess Donut’s “Non-Alcoholic Dirty Shirley, Extra Cherries,” and the Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk set.
Fans can preorder single packs or an unopened display box of 20. Because the contents are randomized, buyers may receive duplicates.
Roleplaying and card games
The roleplaying game lets players create Crawlers and try to survive the World Dungeon. Its Starter Set covers the first two tutorial floors, while the 300-plus-page Core Rulebook covers floors three through five, roughly through Book 4, with character customization, quests, monsters and familiar locations.
Dungeon Crawler Carl: Unstoppable, designed by John D. Clair, is a solo or two-player cooperative deck-building game. Players take the roles of Carl or Princess Donut, fight enemies and upgrade cards across the first three floors. The Crawler Chaos and The Iron Tangle expansions add playable characters and the fourth floor.
Book nine remains unannounced
Author Matt Dinniman has released teaser chapters, but Book 9 has no official release date yet. It is set to begin a two-volume finale, so fans may have a lengthy wait for Carl and Donut’s story to conclude.
Dinniman has published eight full-length novels since Dungeon Crawler Carl began in 2020. Book 8, A Parade of Horribles, is scheduled for May 2026, after This Inevitable Ruin debuted in November 2024.
