Halloween Rewards Available Until November 4: Red Dead Redemption 2 Free Download Officially?
Halloween event continues
Red Dead Online is running Halloween-themed activities through November 4. The event includes new challenges, rewards and cosmetics, with bonuses tied to Strange Tales of the West. The event offers four times the usual RDO$, Gold and XP for investigating strange phenomena, including undead creatures, swamp folk and reports of artificial life. The article says the seasonal activities began in early October, so many challenges and free rewards have already passed.
A free jacket remains available
Players can still earn the orange Benbow Jacket before the event ends. To get it, they must play All Hallows’ Call to Arms between now and November 4.
The article also points to increased rewards for taking part in the Naturalist role, though it does not specify what those rewards are. It describes limited-time in-game items and bonuses, not a free game download.
Red Dead’s future remains uncertain
Red Dead Redemption 2 has not received downloadable content, and some fans have focused on Red Dead Online instead. The game has drawn less attention than Grand Theft Auto, which Rockstar has been developing alongside its work on the Red Dead series.
Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch this November. Whether Rockstar will return its attention to Red Dead Online or make another installment is not yet known.
