Thousands of Sussex homes affected and roads flooded after burst pipe

Areas of Crawley are flooded and about 9,000 homes have water supply issues
Thousands of homes in parts of West Sussex have water supply issues and a number of roads have flooded after what police are describing as a "significant" leak.
Southern Water said about 9,000 customers were impacted, but as of 19:45 BST, most customers had seen their supplies restored.
The company said customers were experiencing a loss of water supply or low pressure in the following areas - Woolborough Road, Holmcroft, Southgate, Tilgate and Furnace Green.
Southern Water said its teams were still carrying out repairs but the damaged section of pipe had been removed and its replacement installed.

Southgate Avenue, Crawley Avenue and part of the A23 were closed, according to Southern Water.
The County Mall shopping centre in the town has been temporarily closed due to the water outages.
Southern Water said its teams were working to make the repairs as quickly as possible
"There was a large amount of water going from one side of the roundabout to the other and going into an underpass.
Resident Ryan Beck said: "We have no water pressure in the upstairs of our house.
At 17:30, a bottled water station opened at The Hawth Theatre in Hawth Avenue.
