Stagate Franchise Officially Returns Next Month With a Horus Guard Helmet Replica for SG-1 Fans

A familiar Stargate design
Horus Guards first appeared in the 1994 film, wearing falcon-headed helmets and Egyptian-style armor. In Stargate SG-1, they are established as elite Jaffa warriors serving Ra’s family. The guards wielded staff weapons and served Ra and later Heru’ur. Their distinctive helmets became among the first signs of the ancient gods’ power encountered by SG-1 on Abydos.
A new desktop replica
Master Replicas is releasing a Horus Guard Helmet Desktop Replica in December 2026. The piece recreates the hooked beak and sculpted golden headdress, drawing on imagery of the ancient Egyptian god Horus.
The company says the helmet was digitally sculpted after careful study of the original props. It is made of polyresin and measures just under 6 inches (15 cm) tall, including its display stand.
Part of a growing collection
The Horus Guard helmet is the second entry in Master Replicas’ desktop replica collection. The range also includes Goa’uld designs such as the Serpent Guard helmet. Master Replicas has expanded its Stargate merchandise with miniature starships and recreations of iconic props. The new collectible offers fans a return to the series’ visual world, rather than a new television release.
