US offers 20 million reward for information on Iran nuclear program details

Reward seeks nuclear details
The State Department’s Rewards for Justice program announced it is seeking information about Iran’s nuclear activities. The maximum reward offered is $20 million. The agency is looking for details about nuclear scientists and staff, relevant technologies and capabilities, and connected organizations and personnel. It said people providing information could be eligible for a reward and relocation. The program named Signal and a Tor-based tip line as ways to submit information.
Talks continue as strikes considered
The announcement comes while Washington and Tehran continue negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program. President Donald Trump is considering whether to renew military strikes against Iran. Trump said Friday that Iran would not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon, referring to earlier U.S. operations against Iranian nuclear facilities. He also said he would make a decision about whether to continue the war.
Military planning remains uncertain
Trump met with his national security team Thursday to discuss the possibility of renewed strikes, after previously saying he would wait until after the midterms. U.S. Central Command is completing preparations for a possible resumption of major operations in Iran, according to reports citing a U.S. official.
Those reports said the command had not received a new directive from Washington. Senior U.S. officials told Fox News that Nov. 9 would bring a new moon in the Middle East, with little to no moonlight, a condition they described as favorable for military operations.
