Roberts-Smith collaborates with business linked to influencer whose supplement was sold as ‘war crimes’ workout fuel

Collaboration with Zero Limits

Roberts-Smith appeared in an October social media video with Zero Limits supplements. The company is co-owned by Chris Katelaris, a right-wing podcaster and fitness coach also known as “Big Chocky.” In the video, Roberts-Smith gave the brand a “massive shout out” and encouraged followers to visit its website. He also appeared last week on the Zero Limits podcast, hosted by another founder of the supplements company.

The product’s branding

Months before the collaboration, Zero Limits repeatedly posted online about a pre-workout energy supplement called “war crimes.” The product came in “kill or capture cola” flavour and featured an image of a hooded captive alongside a figure in a balaclava and military-style clothing. The product is not currently listed on the company’s website. Roberts-Smith was not shown endorsing, referring to or using it.

Statements and allegations

Roberts-Smith has denied the charges against him. After his arrest, he said: “I categorically deny all of these allegations,” adding that he would use the opportunity to clear his name and that he was proud of his service in Afghanistan.

Company response and Katelaris

In a statement through a lawyer, Zero Limits did not answer specific questions. Its response said: “The products are great, make sure you check them out.” Katelaris identifies himself as a co-owner of the supplements brand in his Instagram bio. He also promotes merchandise supporting Roberts-Smith, including “I stand with BRS” shirts, hats, hoodies and stubby coolers.
