Netflix’s Stranger Things Cast Reunites for Last Laugh in Surprising Final-Season Blooper Release

A final-season blooper reel
Netflix released a new blooper reel from Stranger Things season 5 for Stranger Things Day. The footage shows the cast during filming and gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the final chapter.
The reel offers a humorous view of a season that concluded the series. Netflix made it available nearly a year after the main story ended.
The series and its final cast
Created by Matt and Ross Duffer, Stranger Things premiered on Netflix in July 2016. It follows friends in fictional Hawkins, Indiana, as strange events, government experiments and the Upside Down reshape their lives.
The final season brought back Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink. Returning cast members also included Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Winona Ryder and David Harbour.
The show ended in December 2025 after five seasons. Several of its young performers, including Brown, Wolfhard, Schnapp, Matarazzo and McLaughlin, began the series as children and grew up on screen.
Why November 6 matters
Netflix continues to recognize the series each November 6. The date marks Will Byers’ disappearance in 1983, which set the story in motion. Will’s friends and Eleven joined the search, eventually discovering the Upside Down. The franchise’s story has also inspired several spinoffs.
