Forget Sicario: Denis Villeneuve’s Crime Thriller Prisoners Officially Takes Apple TV’s No. 5 Spot, Rated 10/10

A disappearance drives the story

Prisoners follows Keller Dover, played by Hugh Jackman, after his daughter and her friend go missing. As police follow several leads and pressure builds, Dover decides to take matters into his own hands.

Detective Loki, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, arrests Alex Jones, portrayed by Paul Dano, who was driving an RV. With no physical evidence, Loki has to release him, prompting Dover to kidnap Jones in an effort to find his daughter.
