Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake: Dodongo Cavern Dungeon Guide to Lizalfos, Bombs and Puzzles

Opening route and first fight
Enter the cavern and use the platforms on the left to reach the far ledge. Bomb the cracked wall on the left for a Blue Rupee worth five rupees, then open the wall on the right to collect the dungeon map.
After opening the door, climb up to face two Lizalfos. Keep your distance and use the slingshot; when they close in, attack with your sword and backflip to avoid their strike.
Torches, switches and stairs
In the dark room, light every torch with a Deku Stick while avoiding the enemies. Drawing them toward one corner can leave you room to run around and light the fires.
Step on the switch in the next area to open a door across the room, then return to the hub and jump across to it. In the following room, climb the ladder for the compass; defeating the Armos statue is optional, and a bomb can be used against it.
Bombs and the upper passages
Place a bomb flower on the ground to set off the chain of bombs and lower the staircase. Take either side of the stairs, pass the cracked wall for now, and go through the door on the second level; a Gold Skulltula is on a net behind it.
Lure the Armos statue away, climb the ladder and press the button to open the gated door. Cross the rope bridge, jump onto the boxes and throw a bomb flower at the cracked wall, then climb into the lava area and cross carefully.
Bomb Bag and skull puzzle
Defeat the Lizalfos in the lava area using the defensive approach from the earlier fight. The reward is a Business Scrub seed, described as a new item in the Switch 2 edition that can summon a shop.
Shoot the eye above the next doorway to stop the furnace, then cross and target another eye from the next platform. Turn left to shoot the eye in the wall passage and halt the second flame; continue onward to claim the Bomb Bag.
Bomb the cracked wall behind the chest and press the button to raise the right platform in the hub to its highest point. Return to the rope bridge and drop bombs through the small openings beside the giant skull’s eyes; the eyes turn red in a cutscene.
