After five and a half years, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lose another Archewell staff member in blow to business

Pysnik leaves Archewell Productions
Pysnik is departing after five and a half years as Head of Nonfiction, Film & TV, Deadline reported. The Sussexes described her as one of their earliest hires and said she helped establish the strategy for their unscripted projects.
The couple said Pysnik brought expertise and care to the work, and that her contribution should be celebrated. They also said they were supporting her as she moves on to her next chapter.
Projects included Netflix series
Pysnik executive produced several Archewell productions, including the 2022 docuseries “Harry & Meghan” and Meghan Markle’s lifestyle series “With Love, Meghan.” The latter was canceled after two seasons in January. In a statement to Deadline, Pysnik called her time building the company with Harry and Meghan “an honor.” She said the work had reached audiences around the world and that she was proud of what they achieved.
Staffing and business questions
Harry and Meghan launched Archewell Productions in 2020 after stepping back from senior working roles in the royal family. The company has made several projects for Netflix, but its partnership has faced scrutiny over reported tensions and questions about its productions.
Page Six reported in March that two anticipated Netflix movie projects were stalled. It also reported last month that Archewell had quietly reduced staffing at its Raleigh Studios offices in Los Angeles; an insider said the cuts affected production crews, not full-time Archewell employees.
Couple returned to UK
The report gives Archie’s age as 7 and Lilibet’s as 5. It does not say whether Pysnik’s departure is connected to the staffing reductions or the couple’s move.
