Why Alix Earle Really Feels Her Sister Ashtin Dating Landon Barker Is a Perfect Match

Alix Earle shared her reaction after Ashtin Earle and Landon Barker confirmed they were dating. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in an interview posted to TikTok on Nov. 3, Alix said, “I’m obsessed with them.”

She described Ashtin as head over heels and called Barker sweet. Alix also said they look good together and bring out the best in one another. Seeing her younger sister so happy has made the relationship especially heartwarming for Alix. She said that happiness was all she could wish for.

A protective older sister

Alix said she is very protective of Ashtin, 23, and would have spoken up if she did not approve of the relationship. She described herself as brutally honest with her sister and said a partner must meet Ashtin’s standards.

So far, Alix said, Barker has been a gentleman and there have been no problems. Barker is the son of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler.

From rumors to confirmation

Ashtin and Barker first sparked romance rumors in July, when the Earle sisters appeared in a video with him. Ashtin later attended the August premiere of his father’s documentary, Louder than Fear, and Barker joined Ashtin and her family at the September premiere of Earle Meets World.

Ashtin also appeared in the music video for Barker’s song “If I Ever Talk to God.” The pair confirmed their relationship over Halloween weekend in costumes inspired by Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen. Ashtin posted photos of the costumes on Instagram on Nov. 2, identifying herself as Nancy and Barker as Sid.

Their past dating lives

Before dating Ashtin, Barker had relationships with model Skyla Sanders for a year and Charli D’Amelio for two years. Ashtin had said she wanted a break from dating after her 2024 split from John Summit. In a May TikTok, Ashtin said she was done dating and texting boys, describing her feelings about dating at the time.
