Zendaya Recreated Halle Berry’s Iconic Fashion Moment for Halloween in a Vintage Lanvin Look

A vintage Lanvin recreation
On Saturday, Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, posted photos of her Halloween costume. The actress wore a butter yellow, brown and white printed string bikini top with silver details, paired with matching low-rise, wide-leg trousers from Lanvin’s fall 2000 collection. She finished the look with pointed-toe heels.
A tribute linked to her haircut
The Halloween homage comes amid comparisons between Zendaya and Berry following Zendaya’s debut of a pixie cut. When she first wore the hairstyle at the 2026 Emmy Awards in September, Roach said it was inspired by Berry’s short hair. Berry later shared Roach’s interview on her Instagram Story. She praised Zendaya, writing that she “murdered the night.”
Earlier fashion tributes
Zendaya has previously used fashion to honor other performers. In 2013, she recreated Aaliyah’s Tommy Hilfiger campaign look for Keep a Child Alive’s Dream Halloween. At the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, she paid tribute to Cher in a vintage Bob Mackie design. Zendaya’s Dune: Part Three press tour is now getting underway.
