Black Doves returns November 5 as 8 must watch shows are coming to Netflix in November

A varied November lineup

Netflix’s upcoming slate ranges from mysteries and espionage to reality competition. The Body is pitched as a mystery, while The Hunting Wives returns with more secrets and scandal.

Win the Mall and The Great British Baking Show: Holidays bring competition to the mix. The lineup also includes Black Doves Season 2, Bass X Machina and Mike Tyson: Return of the Mike.

Animation and comedy arrive

After several delays, Bass X Machina is set to debut on Netflix. The animated series comes from South Korea’s Studio Mir and combines steampunk, Western action and science-fiction elements.

Its story centers on a father driven to take justice into his own hands to protect his family. Mike Tyson: Return of the Mike, filmed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, marks his first stage show since 2013’s Undisputed Truth.

The former heavyweight champion plans to discuss addiction, mental health and his relationship with himself, using humor alongside personal stories. The special presents Tyson beyond the boxing ring.

Returning shows bring danger

Black Doves returns for Season 2 on November 5, with Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw reprising their roles as Helen and Sam. Helen continues passing state secrets to the covert organization, even as her double life grows harder to manage.

Her husband, Wallace, is preparing to become prime minister, while handler Mrs. Reed faces a scheme to weaken her position. Sam has left his former life as a hitman, and he and Helen reunite to search for answers.

Another eight-episode drama follows rebellious Catholic schoolgirls after a dance-team initiation goes wrong. Created by Quinn Shephard, the story involves prophetic visions and mass hysteria spreading through a small community, alongside the girls’ struggles with growing up and identity.
