VisionQuest Star Teases What Comes Next After Episode 6’s Harrowing Transformation

A background built in Cardiff
Morais said she understood Lisa as an orphan and developed details about her past herself. In her version, the Blip took Lisa’s mother, while Lisa had little knowledge of her father.
She imagined Lisa learning to pickpocket in Cardiff, where people eventually recognized her methods. Lisa then moved to London, where taking the wrong wallet led to her meeting Tommy. Morais also asked costume designer Sarah Young to give Lisa a Welsh spoon necklace, imagining it as a gift from her mother.
Local influences shaped Lisa
Rather than modeling Lisa on a particular performance, Morais looked to people she knew while growing up in Llanrumney, Cardiff. She said friends from her hometown helped inform the character’s edge and resilience.
Lisa is a skilled pickpocket, a trait that reflects her need to look after herself. Morais described drawing on women from her community whom she considered survivors.
Episode six changes the stakes
Lisa and Tommy’s bond has grown since they met on a prison bus, where they became close confidants. Their relationship takes a romantic turn with a kiss in Episode 6.
The episode also shows nanobots implanted in Lisa, leading to what Morais described as a harrowing transformation. Earlier in the series, Lisa helped Tommy and Vision, played by Paul Bettany, get into a gala.
