Five years no contact: Trisha Paytas breaks silence on Ethan Klein cheating scandal involving sister-in-law Hila

Paytas addresses the allegation

In an Oct. 27 TikTok video, Trisha Paytas said she and Moses Hacmon had been out of contact with Ethan and Hila Klein for five years. She said they had no inside information, though they were not completely outside the situation.

Paytas said she knew both of them and felt sadness about the allegation. She added that the families have children of similar ages and described the situation as devastating. She called this her only comment on the matter, saying she no longer knew them.

Paytas shares Malibu Barbie, 3, Elvis, 2, and Aquaman, 15 months, with Moses. She said the couple had chosen silence about her in-laws to protect their peace and her sanity.

Moses explains the estrangement

Moses said the relationship was hurting his wife and children. He also expressed sympathy for his sister, saying he had cried after reading her statement and did not hate anyone, despite not speaking with her.

Moses said Ethan was no longer part of his family. He added that he and Paytas had stayed quiet while waiting for Ethan to finish what Moses viewed as harmful behavior.

Hila and Ethan respond

In an Oct. 22 Instagram post, Hila accused Ethan of having an affair. She wrote that she had been fed lies for months and said she was tired of them.

After he was dropped by the rest of the H3 Podcast team, Ethan asked for privacy in an Oct. 23 Instagram Story. He asked people not to contact his family for comments, saying they had nothing to do with the matter and shared in the public’s outrage and disappointment.
