Four Taylor Sheridan Shows Chart in October, Suggesting His Ambitious TV Gamble Has Finally Paid Off

Sheridan’s expanding television career

Sheridan began in the industry as an actor and found early success writing the screenplay for Sicario in 2015. Yellowstone, his 2018 Western saga, later brought his name wider recognition.

In the eight years since Yellowstone began, more than 10 television projects have carried Sheridan’s name. He has expanded that franchise with prequels and sequels while also pursuing Western stories beyond it, thrillers reminiscent of Sicario and a crime universe focused on the mafia.

Four series reach the charts

As of October 2026, Dutton Ranch, Marshals, Landman and Lioness were listed among Amazon Store’s Top TV Shows. The four series did not premiere at the same time: Marshals debuted in March 2026, followed by Dutton Ranch in May.

The chart placements indicate continued viewer interest in Sheridan’s shows. For Yellowstone, the success of its spin-offs suggests that audiences remain open to more stories within the franchise.

Different release schedules, lasting interest

Landman’s latest season was released in November 2025. Season 3 remained in production, with no new episodes arriving in 2026, yet the series was still on the charts in October.

Lioness followed a more regular schedule, with its latest season premiering in August. Together, the shows’ chart appearances suggest that release timing alone does not determine how long a series holds viewers’ attention.
