Deadspin: Jackson Chourio, Brewers blitz Rays in Game 3, move close to World Series sweep

Chourio leads Milwaukee attack
Chourio went 4-for-5 and drove in a run as Milwaukee pulled away from Tampa Bay. He has eight hits and four runs across the first three games of the series.
The Brewers opened the scoring in the third. Chourio singled, Jake Bauers walked, and Christian Yelich drove in Chourio; William Contreras then singled, with a bobble allowing Bauers to score from second.
Eight runs turn game around
Milwaukee led 2-0 in the fifth when a replay review overturned a call that had ruled Christian Yelich out at second to end the inning. The decision left the Brewers with the bases loaded.
The next six batters reached, turning the close game into a 10-0 lead. Brice Turang’s single brought home Chourio and Yelich, followed by RBI hits from Garrett Mitchell, Cooper Pratt and Sal Frelick. David Hamilton and Chourio added run-scoring singles after Tampa Bay changed pitchers.
Gasser keeps Rays quiet
Robert Gasser earned the win after giving up one hit over six scoreless innings. He walked one and struck out three, and Milwaukee finished with 16 hits. Freddy Peralta allowed five runs on seven hits in 4 2/3 innings. Tampa Bay scored its only run in the ninth, when Yandy Díaz hit an RBI double against Brandon Woodruff, who had not pitched since July 4 because of a shoulder injury.
Milwaukee one win away
The Brewers are 10-1 in the postseason and lead the World Series 3-0. They are seeking their first World Series title. Milwaukee can finish the series in Game 4 on Tuesday in St. Petersburg.
