Percy Jackson Officially Returns in 4 Weeks for The Titan’s Curse

A milestone for the series
The Disney+ show is moving beyond its adaptations of The Lightning Thief and The Sea of Monsters to Rick Riordan’s third book, The Titan’s Curse. Earlier movie adaptations did not reach this story, which features important characters who have yet to make their live-action introductions.
Disney announced the season’s premiere date at San Diego Comic-Con. The new season arrives November 20, exactly four weeks after October 23.
Percy’s rescue mission
Annabeth’s capture by forces serving Kronos sends Percy on a mission to save her. Grover travels with him as Percy works alongside unlikely companions and faces a captive goddess.
The danger is personal as well as broader: Annabeth is a trusted friend, and their separation pushes Percy back into danger. A prophecy also threatens Olympus, raising the stakes beyond the rescue.
Returning and new faces
Walker Scobell returns as Percy, with Leah Sava Jeffries playing Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri returning as Grover Underwood. The season will also expand the group of demigods caught up in the conflict.
Percy’s urgent goal is to bring Annabeth back. But with Olympus at risk, the quest carries consequences that reach beyond the friends traveling together.
