Pentagon UFO Files Include Details of a Strange Triangular Craft’s Silent Flight

Agents spot craft after sunset

A third agent stationed nearby alerted the federal agents to the object, according to their accounts. They repositioned to see it more clearly and spotted it above a ridgeline a few miles west, against the light remaining after sunset.

The Pentagon released two documents about the encounter: an All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) memo describing investigators’ debrief with the agents, and a statement the agents signed for the FBI. The FBI document contains illustrations of the scene and the craft.

Silent climb and sudden hover

AARO described the craft as matte black and featureless. Investigators said it rose slowly and vertically about 200 to 300 feet above the ridgeline, without tilting or swaying, and made no sound.

The craft then stopped “instantaneously” and hovered in place for about 20 seconds, the AARO debrief said. The memo reported silence during its high-speed movement, with no smoke, dust, impact or other physical disturbance observed.

No trace found; review continues

A ground survey of the canyon drainage the following morning found no wreckage, ground scarring or vegetation damage, according to the memo. The Pentagon said AARO considered the June incident worthy of further investigation because its reported shape and movement matched features described in other western U.S. cases.

Earlier files released in May described federal law enforcement agents’ 2023 reports of orange orbs releasing smaller red orbs over two days at an undisclosed location. A later release included agents’ own accounts of the lights.
