Nobody Wants This Renewed for Season 4 on Netflix: What the New Chapter Could Explore

Netflix Orders Another Season

Netflix has renewed Nobody Wants This for a fourth season. The announcement came two weeks after Season 3 concluded with Joanne and Noah’s impromptu wedding. Co-showrunners and executive producers Erin Foster, Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan said they were pleased to continue the show they run. Netflix vice president of comedy series, US, Tracey Pakosta, also expressed excitement about the next season.

Season Three Changed Relationships

Season 3 followed Joanne, played by Kristen Bell, and Noah, played by Adam Brody, as they moved in together, became engaged and married. Noah’s brother Sasha, played by Timothy Simons, and Joanne’s sister Morgan, played by Justine Lupe, finally pursued their long-standing attraction.

That romance encountered a major obstacle, leaving the relationship unresolved by the season’s end. Season 4 could return to the tension between Sasha and Morgan while showing how Joanne and Noah adjust to married life.

Praise And Reservations

The season received an average grade of A- from TVLine readers. The publication also noted concerns about Sasha and Morgan’s storyline, arguing that the show introduced further barriers after a notably romantic episode.

Pakosta said the series had become a cultural phenomenon and that viewers around the world had embraced it across seasons. She added that the creative team’s work had grown alongside its audience.
