Auburn Football Trio Remain Questionable For Arkansas Contest

Three Tigers Listed Questionable

Auburn’s Thursday night SEC injury report listed Jordan, Koger and Smith-Reed as questionable for the Arkansas game at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The report did not confirm whether any of the three would play.

Head coach Alex Golesh was expected to provide another update Friday night, before game day. Auburn will host Arkansas, which the article describes as a winnable opponent.

Jordan And Smith-Reed Return

Jordan left Auburn’s loss to No. 12 Ole Miss early in the first quarter with an ankle injury. Golesh said Jordan was at practice Monday as he worked toward returning to the secondary.

Smith-Reed was injured in Oxford on Halloween and also practiced with Jordan after the setback. The senior had one tackle against Ole Miss and has played in every game this season.

Koger Could Bolster Offense

Koger missed Auburn’s previous game and worked through practice while recovering. Before the Ole Miss contest, Golesh described him as “close.” The USF transfer ranks third on Auburn in both receptions and receiving yards, with 14 catches for 230 yards. His return would add another option to the offense against Arkansas.

Kickoff And Remaining Schedule

Kickoff is set for 11:45 Central at Jordan-Hare Stadium, and the game will air on the SEC Network. Friday’s update is the final one expected before the contest. After Arkansas, Auburn is scheduled to face Mississippi State and Samford before traveling to Tuscaloosa for the annual Iron Bowl against Alabama.
