Finn Wolfhard and Caleb McLaughlin Filming a Stranger Things Episode? What We Know
A clip sparks speculation
Earlier this week, the Stranger Things Updates account on X shared a 20-second video showing Wolfhard and McLaughlin walking together on a street. They stop after noticing something ahead of them.
The two actors were spotted filming a scene in November. The footage quickly fueled fan theories about what they might be working on.
The ninth episode theory
Stranger Things concluded in January, but some fans believe a ninth episode may still arrive. Their “Conformity Gate” theory holds that the series finale was a fake-out involving the villain Vecna.
The new footage has brought that idea back into discussion, though the report offers no confirmation that another episode is planned. HBO’s surprise Halloween episode of It: Welcome to Derry has also led some viewers to wonder whether Netflix might make a similar move.
A tease for November 6
Stranger Things Day falls on Friday, November 6. The post has added to questions about whether the cast’s filming is connected to the occasion.
Other possible projects
One possibility is that Wolfhard and McLaughlin filmed something for Stranger Things Day. Other theories mentioned include a 2027 Super Bowl commercial, a Thanksgiving advertisement or a Saturday Night Live skit.
