Bondi Beach shooting victim dies: 90-year-old Holocaust survivor was seriously injured
Injuries and recovery
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said Geller had wanted to return home after being shot. He said she had been told she would never walk again, but later did so through determination.
Tributes after her death
Rabbi Aron Moss of Nefesh Synagogue remembered Geller as “positive, loving, and strong throughout her life, right until the end”. Albanese said he was saddened by her death and offered support to her family, friends and the Jewish community.
Inquiry and security measures
A government-backed inquiry into antisemitism, launched after the attack, is due to deliver its findings on December 18.
