Shuffle Screen Savers Bring More Variety in tvOS 27.2, Adds Apple TV Setting I’m Loving | 9to5Mac

A new way to see screen savers
Launched last week, tvOS 27.2 is the latest software update for Apple TV 4K. Among its changes is a Shuffle setting for screen savers. The option randomly cycles through screen savers from all four categories. Before this update, users had to choose one category to see on their device.
Four categories to explore
Aerial screen savers, captured around the world and from space, remain a favorite. Apple has also added other types over time. Two categories draw on an Apple Photos library, bringing personal memories to the big screen. Another features Snoopy, the Peanuts character, in a range of scenes.
More variety on Apple TV 4K
With Shuffle enabled, the screen saver can switch among all four categories instead of sticking to a single choice. That brings a greater chance of seeing different options.
The change may seem small, but it adds variety to the Apple TV 4K experience. The new setting is available in tvOS 27.2.
