VisionQuest Brings Marvel’s Best TV Trilogy to Its End—WandaVision Fans Won’t Want to Miss It

A Story Begins With WandaVision

WandaVision launched Marvel Studios’ era of Disney+ television five and a half years ago. The series drew broad attention during the pandemic and became a weekly talking point for fans.

It later earned 23 Emmy nominations, including recognition for Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany and Kathryn Hahn. Agatha All Along continued the story before VisionQuest brings it toward an apparent conclusion.

Inside Vision’s Mind

Across eight episodes, the story moves between Vision’s mind and an adventure in the outside world. Characters including F.R.I.D.A.Y., J.A.R.V.I.S., E.D.I.T.H. and Ultron represent parts of his psyche.

James Spader returns to play Ultron. The series also brings Vision into contact with Tommy, portrayed by Ruaridh Mollica, who is Wanda and Vision’s son and was conjured into reality by Wanda.

Family And Unanswered Questions

The story puts family and fatherhood at its center. Ultron is technically Vision’s father, while Tony Stark and Bruce Banner also have a connection to his creation; Vision now has fatherhood of his own to navigate.

Whether Wanda or Agatha will appear is unclear. Wanda was last seen beneath a giant mountain in Multiverse of Madness, and the story’s ending is presented as a likely conclusion to the trilogy.
