Trump says he turned off Fox News because he couldn’t stand female host Jessica Tarlov’s voice

Trump criticizes Tarlov on air

Trump posted that he was watching Fox News’ pre-election results but wanted to switch channels while Tarlov was on air. He called her voice difficult to bear and insulted her in the post.

Tarlov, a liberal commentator on The Five, has criticized Trump’s handling of living costs, accused him of corruption and questioned his cognitive health. Trump has repeatedly targeted her, including once calling her among television’s least attractive and talented people. Tarlov previously responded to Trump’s attacks by asking why he was not busier and suggesting there were better things for him to do.

A separate attack on polling

Later Tuesday evening, Trump posted another criticism of Fox News, focusing on its polling. He complained about the questions and characterized the results as hostile to him.

Control of Congress at stake

Democrats would need to gain three House seats and four Senate seats to take control of both chambers. It could take hours or days to determine which party will lead Congress for the final two years of Trump’s second term. A White House official told The Independent that the administration was “cautiously optimistic.”
