Trevor’s Out-of-Character Ghosts Story Shake-Up: Asher Grodman Teases Hetty Relationship Changes
Trevor’s Christmas Movie View
The season resumes next month with a Christmas special inspired by Die Hard. Grodman said Trevor is a fan of the Bruce Willis action film, but does not consider it a Christmas movie.
Grodman described Trevor as Jewish and not especially fond of Christmas. He also said Trevor would rather spend the holiday pursuing a sexual liaison than celebrating it.
A Tense Bond With Hetty
Grodman characterized Trevor and Hetty’s relationship as a winding journey. Though they are roughly a century apart in age and come from different eras, both are shaped by wealth, glamour and hierarchy, he said.
Their similarities include competitiveness and a desire to win, while their experiences with sexual freedom sharply differ. Grodman said their history combines attraction, distrust and rivalry, leaving open whether they become allies or enemies.
More Season Six Ahead
The two characters have put their romantic past behind them, but remain close at times and can also play manipulative mind games. Grodman said their dynamic carries an unresolved “will they, won’t they” tension.
The season includes two hour-long specials airing during the rest of 2026, followed by the full season in 2027. The upcoming episodes also include the show’s 100th installment.
