At Berlin’s Sunrise on the Reaping Premiere, Mckenna Grace Channels Katniss’ Girl-on-Fire Look
A look inspired by Katniss
Grace appeared in the custom Cong Tri dress at Zoo Palast in Berlin on Monday, November 2. The 20-year-old actor’s outfit was designed to evoke Katniss Everdeen’s “girl on fire” look from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
The design referenced the dress Jennifer Lawrence wore with Josh Hutcherson during the tribute chariot ride. That scene introduced the 75th Hunger Games, also called the Third Quarter Quell.
Co-stars joined the photocall
Grace was joined at the event by fellow Sunrise on the Reaping stars Joseph Zada, Whitney Peak and Molly McCann. The Berlin appearance continued her tributes to performers and characters from the original Hunger Games trilogy.
Grace discusses roles she declines
Grace recently appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan’s upcoming winter issue, alongside co-stars Whitney Peak and Maya Hawke. In the accompanying interview, she discussed roles she would turn down.
Grace said she avoids nudity and “very hypersexual things,” while noting she respects performers who take those roles. She added that her character is killed by Ghostface in Scream, but said her dream is to become a Disney princess someday.
