After the episode, Courtad met Hough in the parking lot. He said they spoke briefly and decided to go on a date. They took Hough’s dog to a park, ate sushi and spent the evening together, Courtad said. Paparazzi photographed them while they were picking up sushi during their December 2024 outing.

Courtad said the romance was short-lived and that it never went beyond a single date. He described Hough positively, while clarifying that they did not become a serious couple.
