Kelly Rowland Reveals Chances of Destiny's Child Reuniting for Jay-Z's Super Bowl Halftime Show

At the Airbnb Gala last week, Rowland was asked whether fans could expect Destiny’s Child to perform together again. She told People, “That’s his performance,” adding that the possibility was not her business.

Jay-Z is set to headline the February 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Beyoncé is highly predicted to make a guest appearance during his set, but Rowland did not confirm a group reunion.

The trio attended Jay-Z’s concert

A few days before the gala, Beyoncé, Rowland and Michelle Williams attended Jay-Z’s concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The stadium is also where the Super Bowl is being held.

Rowland told People the trio was there for Jay-Z, whom she called their “big brother,” while Beyoncé was there for her husband. She praised the concert’s energy and said its Saturday performance was incredible.

Past performances and anniversary

Destiny’s Child last performed together at the final show of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour in July 2025. Before that, the group reunited onstage in March 2015. Two years earlier, the trio made a surprise appearance during Beyoncé’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. Earlier this year, Destiny’s Child celebrated the 25th anniversary of its third album, Survivor.
